Contest Suggestions for Zynga Treasure Isle
Okay so Design Your Own Avatar Outfit contest was a bust. What I would like to know is what kind of contests would you like to see. What would be fun and worth your time to enter? Think about it and come back and leave your suggestions. I am going to be thinking hard myself. People work hard to level in this game and some player has bought energy packs for cash. And the persons that win this contest can buy an item that gives them about 3M. Along with we should have a big island and have to be at a high level to enter in Treasure Isle Landscaping Contest.

I thought the design your own costume was an awesome contest and entered also. I only saw one other entry though so I see where you are coming from. I love the idea of being able to make our own outfits but would like to be able to make any outfit. I would love to have a bathing suit for my avatar, or jeans etc.

In terms of a contest that would require users to design something, possibly address the possibility of a new in-game theme, and let users design decorations that would fit that theme? I.e. if there was a circus theme in the future, let users design decorations that would fit in that theme. The best couple of decorations would go through into the game, along with any other decorations the team adds to the theme.

Contests that require the user to create a rough draft of possible implemented content, as with the avatar outfit contest, or any kind of contest? Writing contests have been pretty successful in the past, as anybody that approaches the contest thread basically has the ability right there and then to publish their own entry (as opposed to something that requires opening a separate program and go from there). Another possibility are starting back up the Landscape contests, although this is highly dependent on active forum users to rally toward submitting entries.

Personally, I won't enter the contests that involve graphic design. My favorite TI contests have always been the ones that involve finishing missions (i.e. something I'd do anyway). I'd also be interested in any kind of idea-generating contest, as long as you only submit text ideas. Shoot, you could make this thread a contest. A contest for future contest ideas. How about plotting a mission for the Egyptian Isles? I'm sure between all of us; we'd get some fun ideas.

Well, it sounds like good motivation for those hard-working players to work even harder to come out with the best score. To me, it's just a difficult contest with an awesome reward - it's like a Triwizard Tournament and eternal glory waits for one successful participant. I’m wondering how much energy the big winner gets after receiving 3 million XP.Is it just one bar of full energy or lots of them?

For Treasure Isle Landscaping Contest you don't have to increase the size of your island if you don't want to do so. That will limit how much you will be able to put on your island but I have a number of neighbors who have just stayed with small islands. There are some islands that to enter you have to have reached a certain level.

i am now on level 17 and have never upgraded my island ... since i haven't got much coins but i have a nice island so far. I'm not exactly sure of the results but I believe there is a decent amount of contact that must be made between the team and the winner(s).

Have you thought at the possibility that 2 or more players could have the same amount of lowest digs possible? What would you do then? Calculate who obtained most early that amount of digs?
