Mysterious egg in Zynga Treasure Isle
I got an egg too & had the option to put it on my island or store it... I stored it. In my backpack, there is no button under it, to "use" or "sell". Guess we'll find out what it's for when they're ready to tell us. When I investigate my mysterious egg, it says where can I place this to make it hatch??Where do you think we should place it, I was thinking fire mountain, but can't move it there. Any others have ideas?

I have the same issue as others. I placed the egg instead of storing it. Now it seems as though we need to take it somewhere, and I don't know how I can get it into my backpack. I'm sure that this will be ok because the circle in front of the phoenix looks like a teleport to me. I think we will all have a teleport somewhere on our islands. I just don’t know where.

I had no option to store it away in my backpack. The only choice was to place the egg on my island, it causes a fire on your island, i visited my friend’s islands, they were on fire, i had to extinguish them and send them an extinguisher. I hope they do give us the option of putting the egg back in our backpack. I don’t see lava or fire mountain on the maps.

I have the lava pit already so will try and place it in there to see if it does anything, will let you know..... Tried the lava pit and fountain then clicked investigate - had a message saying, is this linked to the lava mountain, better stock up on lava mangoes.

I am pretty sure it has something to do with either something you can buy, or something you acquire from fire mountain and place on your isle. Once the egg is placed on your island, you can't pick it back up again -- only move it. So there has to be somewhere you can move it to on your island to hatch it. I was thinking about trying the firepit, lava fountain, or hot magma rock, but I don't own any of those and don't want to buy them just to test out a theory. Anyone who already owns them want to give it a whirl?

It goes without saying you should store the egg as it will only hatch in fire mountin. It is a Phonix egg. I say this because when I click the egg it says "where should I take this to hatch" or something along those lines. Unfortunately without thinking I placed it on my island so I hope there is some way to either put the egg in storage and take it with you to firegod mountin or I'm screwed.
