How to force refresh in Internet Explorer
Hi,

In Internet Explorer 7.0, how do I force a reload of the CSS? I need to be able to force an I.E. object to navigate or refresh from the internet, and not from the cached pages. I have tried F5; Control/F5, but none of them seem to work. How can I get IE to refresh (F5) at specified intervals automatically?
Is there any way I can make it sound refresh every time the page is loaded?

I don't think IE has a setting that allows you to force a refresh at the browser level. If you want, you can refresh IE by pressing "shift"-key + clicking the refresh button.

Follow the steps bellow to refresh or speed up Internet Explorer
Go to Tools
Select Internet Options.
Under the General tab, click on Temporary Internet Files,
Delete Cookies, Delete Files and Settings.
Click on Settings.
pop up comes "Check for newer versions of stored pages"elect Every visit to the page.
Click OK and click Apply .

Re: How to force refresh in Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer's privacy and security measures sometimes stop web pages from doing specific potentially-questionable tasks until a user allow it. Internet Explorer communicates the issue with users through Information Bar at the top of the frame that informs user of a certain action being blocked and allows the user to authorize it at any given time.

Amongst these security/privacy situations, the following three situations share a very annoying similarity:
1. Popup Blocker blocking a pop up from appearing.
2. Installation of an ActiveX control is blocked.
3. An automatic (scripted) download being stopped.

In all these three situations, if users choose to allow the action, Internet Explorer will refresh the page. However, in some cases, refreshing a page causes serious troubles for users, especially in cases which, due to security reasons, users' sessions will expire if the page is refreshed.
