How to install a weapon skin in counter-strike and condition zero
hi guys.
i want some help.
i have downloaded some weapons skin for counter-strike & condition zero
but how do i install so that i can see it in my game.

Download the Condition Zero or 1.6 Weapon skin of your choice, must be a weapon in the game.
Open your "/counter-strike/cstrike/models" folder. (for CS 1.6 use)
Open your "/condition-zero/czero/models" folder. (For CZ Use)
Once the Skin is downloaded open the zip Skin file. There should be v_ w_ p_ types of the skin for weapons
Drag the Skin file (name should be "v_*valid-gunname*.mdl") to the Models folder.
Once you have all of your skins copied to your models folder, you may now open CS 1.6 / CZ and play

Hey, this seems like as good a place as any to ask. I just got back into CZ and would love some custom skins. Since the advice here seems accurate I'd love to follow it the only problem is I can't find the specified file, ran search for it and nothing. Got any help for me?

Well I checked in the cstrike folder and I noticed some of the folders were missing. What do I do and what are they called?

What version are using ? CS : zero or CS 1.6 ! does this tutorial work for you . just see care fully there will be a folder called models in evry cstrike , cezero etc . or if you have your cs in C then put this in the top of the page C:\Program Files\Condition Zero\czero\models , just edit cstrike with the czero

Hey guys...
i got a little bit of a problem here...
i already installed my cz and 1.6 skins, but when its loading is complete, it return to the main menu again....
i repeat the process, but its just keep happening again...
so i restore the original .mdl file to its original location....and it works normaly again...
please help me with this problem.....

i'm using a NoteBook with a 32bit win7 home premium OS...

I've tried this process on my old pc with a windows xp OS, and it works just fine...

I think that you just have to go to counter strike folder and in there search for the models folder and in there copy paste the knife file, in my case i copied v_knife.mdl file in there and started game to see a different kind of knive that was there in the game. Hope that helps you out.

My Condition zero cannot play!~!!after i downloaded the gun and knife...i tried to play but i keep gettin kicked to menu....wat happened? at preaching resources there i get auto refreshed to menu!!

please reply me as fast as possible !! HURRY

Can you tell us whether your console say anything? Where does it bring you back when you get kicked and back to the cs menu? Can you try to delete your ClientRegistry.blob in the Steam directory and restart steam, it will update itself and if that doesn't help, enable developer mode and look in console log file for any errors.
