Hydrophobia: Prophecy on PSN
I am looking for this but problem is that I am not having the PS3 and I am not going to buy that. But, I don’t know why, I really feel that this game is going to be for success on the PS3 and this is perticularirly for the MOVE controls. And, I wish that you manage to carry Hydrophobia BACK onto Xbox Live. I expect Hydrophobia 2 will be on XBLA, PC, as well as on PS3.

This marvel of technology is a work of NanoCell that is a corporation engaged in technological research. During the tenth anniversary of the ship are on the scene Malthusians, which is a group of terrorists who are under the motto "save the world, kill yourself" and determined to put an end to the floating city. It is worth taking a step back: Malthusianism in fact actually exists and takes its inspiration from the work of Malthus, English economist who lived between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, this movement has a critical approach regarding the relationship between population and available resources and draws on the game to justify the attack on the Queen of the World.

Queen of the World is a sign of the technology as well as the prosperity for some people. In this context, the main character Kate is in hydrophobic age of 13, you will finds yourself against to fight against these formidable enemies and will only by the trusted Scoot. This is supporting actor essential to be able to juggle the immense ship, literally flooded due to the attack of the terrorists. At the narrative level the fundamental difference between PC and console is to be found mainly in the new ending that, it gives a new connotation as defined in the whole adventure.

From the point of view of the gameplay the game looks basically like an action with the addition of some vaguely dynamic survival. Although it can not be identified as a title that creepy, it is true that at least on some occasions the player and therefore the star that have the impression of being quite alone against an army of fanatics and terrorists of water waves will result from any sudden crack of the Queen of the World.

The main activity of the player in the time inside the ship will be to explore various areas and magazines, trying to find keys to access and bypassing security systems able to access new areas to explore, nothing new of course, and also quite repetitive because of the uninspired level design, all things considered, although in this respect are reportable improvements over the console version.

The player begins his adventure with a gun utilizing sonic bullets, unlimited in number but good only to stun the unfortunate Malthusian (or even to eliminate them, although in this case you will have to load the shot for a few seconds before putting it in sign).

During the follow-Kate can use with explosive bullets and electrical standards. All these types of bullets, however, will be extremely limited, especially as regards the standard bullets, not very effective unless in large quantities. The continuous and outnumbered in terms of firepower will push the player to weigh any possible conflict and to interact with the environment as possible, for example, flooding entire room hitting a specific bulkhead of the ship or by blowing up tanks. A peculiarity of the game are, although also sections of shooting underwater they appear in some cases confusing and poorly calibrated with respect to the control system. If in fact the layout of controls on the pad, borrowed from the console versions, has proved sufficient, as the keyboard is slightly unwieldy.

During the exploratory sections alternating one called MAVI action and that will be useful. There is already present on the console versions, a sort of tablet that will make the 'hacking terminals of the ship (which in practice will be resolved in the resolution of simple mini-games) and to fit in the video surveillance system to get an accurate picture of the number of enemies.

The graphics engine is optimized Hydrophobia Prophecy on PC as compared to the console versions, which retains some of its strengths and weaknesses. This remains an excellent graphic representation of physical and water. This is improved and adapted to the most computing power of today's PCs, Therefore there is certain blankness in the face of the protagonist or other characters. In hardware the game runs so smooth after all, even on systems that are not very recent, although during the scenes that are too "flooded" some slowdown is to put into account which can be offset by adjusting the video settings and that is fairly scalable. As for the audio industry, however, the major innovation is the hiring of a new voice actor for the character of Scoot which is that unlike the previous versions of the game.

The constant and dwarfed in terms of firepower will prod the player to weigh any feasible clash and to interface with nature's turf would be prudent, case in point, flooding whole room hitting a particular bulkhead of the boat or by exploding tanks. An idiosyncrasy of the diversion are, admitting that likewise areas of shooting underwater they show up in some cases confounding and inadequately calibrated as for the control framework.
